PARADOX...!

WE LIVE IN THE TIMES OF…

…steep profits but shallow relationships,
More kinds of food, but less nutrition,
World peace, but domestic warfare,
Fancier houses, but broken homes,
Two incomes, but more divorces,
Tall men, and short character,
More leisure, but less fun…

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've become huge on quantity but short on quality.
We have learnt how to make a living, but not a life.
We have added years to life, but not life to years.
We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers.
We've polluted the air, as well as our soul.
We have more degrees, but less sense.
We spend more, but we have less.
We've higher incomes, but lower morals.
We have more conveniences, but no time.
We have more medicines, but less wellness.
We've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
We have more experts, but more problems.
We have bigger houses, but smaller families.
We have more knowledge, but no judgement.
We have wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
We have conquered outer space, but not inner space.

Diwali

We've been all the way to the moon and back

But have trouble crossing the street…
…to meet the new neighbour!

It is a time when there is much in the show window, and nothing in the stockroom.

This is a time when Technology can bring this message to you,
And a time when you can choose,
Either to make a difference… OR just hit ‘Ignore’…!

PS – If you can see the above text forming a Diwali Lantern, there is still hope…!
The least thing you can utilize this Festival Occassion to would be R-E-F-L-E-C-T...!

May this festival of light help you overcome
all the darkness, evil, negativity and… hypocrisy!
Have an Enlightening and Bright Deepavali!
